more languages please

At different points in my life I've tried learning several languages. Right now, I'm learning Japanese, but would like to one day pick up Korean and German again. It would be cool to round out the most common East Asian languages with Chinese (Mandarin) since I'll be very familiar with Hanji at that point. I'd also like to try Thai, too! The alphabet is absolutely beautiful and the country is on my must-visit list.

get a passport and go

I'm unfortunately one of many untraveled Americans. I have been to Canada before, for an hour or so, as a young child before border rules were changed. Once I get a secure job and get my debts paid down, I'd like to go somewhere outside of the country once a year.
